Commercial & Personal Lines Insurance Agent
Job Summary
Seeking a motivated and client-focused Commercial & Personal Lines Insurance Agent to support new business development and ongoing account management. This role is responsible for advising clients on coverage options, building strong relationships, and providing day-to-day service across commercial and personal lines accounts. The ideal candidate brings insurance experience, strong communication skills, and a consultative approach to client support.
Responsibilities
• Advise and consult with clients on coverage options based on their insurance needs
• Manage and grow a book of business, including renewals, endorsements, and account servicing
• Build and maintain strong client relationships to support retention and cross-selling opportunities
• Review policies for accuracy, coverage alignment, and rating details
• Process endorsements, invoices, certificates, proposals, and policy summaries
• Work with carriers and business partners to market and quote new and renewal business
• Support both personal lines and commercial lines accounts as needed
• Partner with internal team members to support client retention and account growth
• Assist with additional projects and service-related initiatives as assigned
Qualifications/Requirements
• 2+ years of insurance experience in personal lines, commercial lines, or both
• Holds an active P&C (Property and Casualty) insurance license.
• Ability to meet with clients and provide coverage guidance and risk mitigation strategies
• Strong customer service, organizational, and relationship-building skills
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
Compensation Package
• Base salary
• Commission on new business
