Job Summary
Seeking a highly motivated and experienced Office Manager/Team Lead to join a team. This role is pivotal in ensuring the smooth operation of the office, managing personnel, and supporting the sales team to drive business growth. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, a high level of emotional intelligence, and a proven track record in the insurance industry.
Compensation Package
- Salary: $75,000 - $90,000 annually, based on experience.
- Benefits: Comprehensive benefits package, including a 401(k) plan.
- Work Environment: Fully in-office role with no travel required.
Responsibilities
Office/Personnel Management:
- Hire, train, and manage service staff to ensure high performance.
- Support the sales team and collaborate with the Sales Enablement team to drive new business growth.
- Foster a culture of collaboration, continuous learning, and professional excellence.
- Conduct regular performance reviews and provide constructive feedback and coaching.
- Ensure the office operates at optimal levels and meets income goals established by the company.
- Implement and follow up on strategies to address deficiencies.
Customer Service:
- Provide exceptional service to meet company standards and exceed client expectations.
- Communicate professionally and courteously with clients and employees via phone and in-person interactions.
- Respond to customer inquiries regarding policy status, rate quotes, and general information.
- Manage the renewal process for assigned accounts and other office accounts to achieve the best outcomes for clients.
Qualifications/Requirements
- Licenses/Certifications: Property & Casualty (P&C) license required.
- Experience: Minimum of 2 years of prior brokering experience, with a focus on personal lines, farm owner, and business products and markets.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in AMS360 software is required.
- Soft Skills: Strong leadership, emotional intelligence, collaboration, problem-solving, and communication skills.
