Account Manager (2 Openings)
Job Summary
Seeking two experienced and dedicated Account Managers to join a team. The ideal candidates will have a strong background in the insurance industry, with a proven ability to manage a high volume of policies and provide exceptional service to clients. This role involves servicing a substantial book of business, with one position including the management of a limited number of commercial policies. Compensation Package
- Employment Type: Full-time, Exempt
- Salary Range: $60,000 – $65,000 annually
Responsibilities
- Manage and service approximately $6 million in premium, equating to about 2,800 policies.
- Provide exceptional customer service to clients, ensuring their insurance needs are met efficiently and effectively.
- Handle a limited number of commercial policies (for one of the two positions).
- Collaborate with insurance carriers such as Travelers, Safeco, Allstate, Nationwide, and Progressive to ensure optimal policy management.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records in the agency management system.
Qualifications/Requirements
- Minimum of three years’ experience in an independent agency environment.
- Active Texas Property & Casualty (P&C) license (out-of-state applicants must obtain a Texas license upon hire).
- Proven experience working with major insurance carriers, including Travelers, Safeco, Allstate, Nationwide, and Progressive.
- Preferred: Bilingual proficiency in Spanish.
- Preferred: Proficiency with Epic agency management software.
