Responsibilities
- Build and maintain strong relationships with prospective and existing clients to understand their insurance needs.
- Identify and actively pursue new business opportunities to expand the company's personal lines portfolio.
- Provide personalized insurance consultations and recommend suitable policies for homeowners, auto, renters, and other personal lines.
- Prepare accurate insurance quotes and explain policy options, terms, and coverage details to clients transparently.
- Collaborate with underwriters to ensure proper policy placement and binding.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of industry trends, product offerings, and relevant regulations.
- Consistently achieve or exceed sales and retention targets while delivering exceptional service.
- Conduct periodic reviews of clients’ insurance plans to ensure coverage adequacy and offer adjustments based on changes in needs or lifestyle.
- Represent the company in a professional and ethical manner in all client and community interactions.
- Ensure compliance with all local, state, and federal insurance regulations.
Qualifications/Requirements
- Active P&C insurance producer license (required).
- Proven sales experience, preferably in personal lines insurance.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to build trust and rapport with diverse clients.
- Customer-focused with a consultative sales approach.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks or priorities with attention to detail.
- Technologically proficient; experience working with insurance software systems is a plus.
- Self-starter with a track record of meeting or exceeding sales goals.
- Commitment to continuous learning and professional development.
