Commercial Lines Account Executive (CL Department Head Track)
Job Summary
Seeking a highly motivated and experienced Commercial Lines Account Executive to join a growing team.
Compensation Package
- Base Salary: $75,000 – $125,000 (commensurate with experience)
- Incentive Plan: $5,000 – $10,000 annually (estimated)
- Profit Sharing: $5,000 – $7,000 annually (estimated)
Responsibilities
- Manage and service a generalist commercial lines book of business with premiums ranging from $5M–$10M.
- Handle policy changes, endorsements, renewal preparation, and marketing.
- Provide exceptional client support, including addressing inquiries and claims assistance.
- Develop and implement workflows and standard operating procedures (SOPs) for the Commercial Lines team.
- Train and mentor junior team members, fostering a collaborative and growth-oriented environment.
- Build strong relationships with carriers, including Westfield, Cincinnati, Travelers, Auto-Owners, and others.
- Contribute to the evolution of the Commercial Lines department, with potential to transition into a leadership role.
Qualifications/Requirements
- Licenses: Property & Casualty (P&C) License required; additional designations are a plus.
- Experience:
- Minimum of 5 years managing a Commercial Lines book of business.
- Proven ability to service and market mid-to-large accounts.
- Experience with PartnerXE (Partner by Zywave) is a plus, but training will be provided.
