Position Summary

We are seeking an experienced Commercial Lines Account Manager to join our growing team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in commercial insurance, a deep understanding of the marketing process, and must be proficient with Applied Epic. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a client-focused environment and is looking to join a collaborative and supportive agency.


Key Responsibilities

  • Manage a book of small to mid-size commercial lines accounts from A-Z

  • Handle policy renewals, endorsements, audits, certificates, and day-to-day servicing

  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients and carriers

  • Market new and renewal business to carriers; negotiate coverage and pricing

  • Prepare proposals and present coverage recommendations to clients

  • Ensure all documentation is maintained in Applied Epic in accordance with agency standards

  • Collaborate with producers and other team members to deliver outstanding client service

  • Stay up-to-date on industry trends, carrier appetite, and market changes


Qualifications

  • Minimum 3+ years of experience in Commercial Lines account management

  • Required: Strong proficiency in Applied Epic

  • Proven experience in marketing commercial accounts to carriers

  • NY Property & Casualty License

  • Strong knowledge of commercial insurance coverages (GL, Property, WC, Auto, Umbrella, etc.)

  • Exceptional organizational and communication skills

  • Detail-oriented with the ability to prioritize and multitask

  • Self-motivated and able to work independently in a hybrid environment
