Responsibilities

As a Part-Time Commercial Lines Account Manager, you will:

• Manage a portfolio of commercial insurance accounts from A to Z, ensuring all client needs are met with precision and care.
• Handle new business quotes, renewals, and endorsements efficiently and accurately.
• Utilize Applied Epic software to maintain and update client records.
• Provide exceptional customer service by addressing client inquiries and resolving issues promptly.
• Collaborate with team members to ensure seamless account management and client satisfaction.
• Stay informed about industry trends and regulatory changes to provide clients with the best possible advice.

Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you should have:

• A valid Property & Casualty (P&C) license.
• 1-3 years of experience in commercial lines account management, preferably in an independent agency setting.
• Proficiency in Applied Epic software (required).
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• A proactive and client-focused mindset.

Day-to-Day

Your typical day will include:

• Reviewing and processing policy renewals, endorsements, and new business quotes.
• Communicating with clients to address their insurance needs and provide tailored solutions.
• Updating and maintaining accurate client records in Applied Epic.
• Collaborating with colleagues to ensure a smooth workflow and exceptional client service.
• Participating in team activities, such as Friday Jersey Days or March Madness brackets, to foster a positive and engaging work environment.
