Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled and experienced Commercial Insurance Account Manager to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing client accounts, providing exceptional customer service, and developing and maintaining strong relationships with clients and insurance carriers.
Responsibilities
- Act as the main point of contact for clients, addressing inquiries and providing guidance on insurance policy coverage and claims processes.
- Manage and maintain a portfolio of commercial insurance accounts, including policy renewals, endorsements, and new business quotes.
- Conduct regular reviews of clients' insurance needs and provide recommendations for coverage enhancements or additional products.
- Collaborate with insurance underwriters to negotiate terms and conditions and secure the best possible coverage for clients.
- Coordinate with internal teams to ensure timely and accurate processing of policy documentation and client requests.
- Stay updated on industry trends and changes in insurance policies and regulations to provide informed advice to clients.
Qualifications/Requirements
- Proven experience in commercial insurance account management or a similar role.
- Strong understanding of commercial insurance products and coverages.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to multitask, prioritize, and manage time effectively.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and insurance management software.
- Prior experience handling mid- to large-market accounts in Construction, Retail, Manufacturing, Real Estate, etc. is highly preferred.
- Holds an active P&C (Property and Casualty) License.
Compensation Package
- Compensation: Between $60k-$80k (based on experience).
