A leading agency is seeking an experienced and motivated Commercial Insurance Service Manager/Team Lead. Responsibilities

  • Manage and lead a team of insurance service representatives, including hiring, training, coaching, and performance management.
  • Develop and implement strategies to optimize team performance, productivity, and efficiency.
  • Ensure exceptional customer service by resolving escalated client issues and inquiries in a timely and professional manner.
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders, including sales, underwriting, and claims departments, to streamline processes and improve service delivery.
  • Monitor team performance metrics and implement corrective actions as needed.
  • Stay updated on industry trends, regulatory changes, and best practices to ensure compliance and enhance service offerings.
  • Foster a positive and collaborative work environment, promoting teamwork, communication, and continuous learning within the team.
  • Prepare and present regular reports and updates to senior management on team performance, client feedback, and operational improvements.

 

Qualifications/Requirements

  • Demonstrates strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to effectively communicate with clients, insurance carriers, and team members.
  • Possesses a high level of account management expertise and a comprehensive understanding of various insurance products, demonstrating the ability to provide expert advice to clients.
  • Experienced in building and maintaining positive client relationships, ensuring exceptional customer service and satisfaction.
  • Proven track record of successfully managing and leading teams, with a focus on achieving performance goals and driving results.
  • Possesses the ability to skillfully mentor and coach team members, fostering individual and collective growth.
  • Holds an active Property and Casualty (P&C) Insurance License.
  • Preferred Agency Management System Experience: Applied Epic
  • Minimum of 7 years of experience in commercial insurance services, with at least 2 years in a supervisory or leadership role – required.
  • Holds at least one professional designation or has comparable job experience.
  • Above average computer skills with the capacity to master essential software programs.
