Employee Benefits Client Manager

Job Summary

Seeking a dedicated and experienced Employee Benefits Client Manager to join a growing team. This role is responsible for managing a middle-market book of business, providing high-quality client service, supporting renewals and plan strategy, and maintaining strong client relationships. The ideal candidate will have a solid background in employee benefits, strong knowledge of compliance and plan design, and the ability to collaborate effectively in a team-oriented environment.

Responsibilities

  • Serve as the primary point of contact for client questions, claims support, and compliance documentation

  • Manage client engagement, renewals, and plan design for a middle-market book of business

  • Collaborate with internal team members to ensure client satisfaction and effective service delivery

  • Utilize Applied Epic and benefits administration platforms such as Employee Navigator, along with other HR and payroll tools

  • Maintain strong relationships with insurance carriers and other partners

  • Support account retention and growth through proactive client service and relationship management

  • Assist clients with benefits-related questions and provide guidance regarding available plan options and resources

Qualifications/Requirements

  • Proven experience in employee benefits account or client management, preferably with middle-market accounts

  • Holds an active L&H (Life and Health) insurance license

  • Familiarity with agency management software such as Applied Epic

  • Experience with Employee Navigator or similar benefits administration platforms is preferred

  • Strong knowledge of employee benefits compliance and plan design

  • Excellent communication, organization, and client relationship management skills

  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment

  • Commitment to ongoing professional development and relevant industry designations

Compensation Package

  • Salary Range: $65,000 - $85,000, with potential compensation up to $110,000 for highly qualified candidates

  • Bonus: Company performance-based bonus with additional earning potential for professional designations
