Employee Benefits Account Manager (Remote - California)

Job Summary

Seeking a dedicated and experienced Employee Benefits Account Manager to join a team. This role focuses on managing small group, fully insured accounts, with a book of business consisting of 35 groups. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in employee benefits, excellent customer service skills, and the ability to handle renewals, marketing, benefit design, and open enrollment processes.

Compensation Package

• Salary Range: $65,000 - $75,000 annually

Responsibilities

• Manage a book of business consisting of 35 small group accounts (2-75 lives).
• Handle renewals, marketing, and benefit design for clients.
• Coordinate and conduct open enrollment meetings.
• Provide exceptional customer service and maintain strong client relationships.
• Collaborate with the team to ensure seamless service delivery.

Qualifications/Requirements

• Licenses/Certifications: Active Life and Health license is required.
• Experience:
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in an independent brokerage setting.
  • Strong understanding of fully insured, small group employee benefits.
• Skills:
  • Reliable and customer service-focused.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently in a remote environment.
• Technical Proficiency: Familiarity with relevant software tools is a plus.
