Select Account Manager
Job Summary
Seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Select Account Manager to join a Commercial Lines – Select team. This role is pivotal in managing a high-volume book of small commercial accounts, ensuring efficient and accurate service delivery, and fostering strong client retention. The ideal candidate will thrive in a fast-paced environment, excel in standardized workflows, and consistently deliver an exceptional client experience.
Compensation Package
- Salary Range: $75,000 - $85,000 annually
Responsibilities
1. Client Service & Retention
- Act as the primary point of contact for assigned Select accounts.
- Respond promptly to client requests, process changes, and resolve issues.
- Maintain strong client relationships through consistent and responsive service.
- Handle billing inquiries, including AB invoices and DB issues.
Key Performance Indicators (KPIs):
- Client retention rate: ≥ 90–92%
- SLA adherence (response times): ≥ 95%
- Timely resolution of client requests
2. Renewal Management
- Oversee the renewal process from start to finish, adhering to standardized timelines.
- Prepare renewal documentation and review coverage with clients as needed.
- Collaborate with the Team Lead or Marketing for accounts requiring market review.
- Provide proposals, comparisons, and recommendations following inspections.
KPIs:
- Renewal timeline adherence: ≥ 95% on-time
- Renewal retention rate: ≥ 90%+
- Accuracy in renewal processing
3. Policy Processing & Execution
- Process endorsements, certificates, audits, and policy changes.
- Review policies and documents for accuracy.
- Ensure all account activity is properly documented in AMS360.
KPIs:
- Processing turnaround (endorsements/certificates): Within SLA (24–72 hours)
- Accuracy rate: ≥ 98%+
- Documentation completeness
4. Workflow & Productivity
- Manage a high-volume book of business within defined capacity targets.
- Prioritize tasks effectively to meet deadlines and service standards.
- Support team efficiency through consistent execution of workflows.
KPIs:
- Book size/account load within target range
- Task completion within service standards
- Minimal backlog or overdue items
5. Team Collaboration
- Work closely with Assistant Account Managers (AAMs) for task delegation and workflow efficiency.
- Escalate complex issues to the Team Lead as needed.
- Coordinate with Marketing and carriers when required.
KPIs:
- Workflow efficiency and task delegation effectiveness
- Positive internal team feedback
- Contribution to overall team performance
Qualifications/Requirements
- 2–5+ years of experience in Commercial Lines (small commercial preferred).
- Active Property & Casualty License (or ability to obtain).
- Strong organizational and multitasking skills.
- Proven ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, high-volume environment.
