Commercial Lines Account Manager (CLAM)
Job Summary
Seeking a highly motivated and experienced Commercial Lines Account Manager (CLAM) to join a team. This role involves managing a retail book of business, providing A-Z servicing, quoting new and renewal policies, conducting coverage gap analyses, and cross-selling/up-selling opportunities. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in commercial lines account management and a passion for delivering exceptional customer service.
Compensation Package
- Salary Range: $70,000 - $120,000 (based on experience)
- Incentives: Additional earnings through cross-selling and up-selling opportunities

Responsibilities
- Manage a retail book of business valued between $4M-$6M, with accounts ranging from $15K-$25K per line and some accounts up to $150K.
- Provide end-to-end servicing for commercial lines accounts, including quoting new and renewal policies.
- Conduct coverage gap analyses to ensure clients have optimal insurance solutions.
- Identify and execute cross-selling and up-selling opportunities to enhance client portfolios.
- Utilize in-house CRM systems and Google Suite for efficient account management.
- Collaborate with a team of five customer success managers to ensure client satisfaction.
Qualifications/Requirements
- Licenses: Active 2-20 or 4-40 license is required.
- Experience: Minimum of 3-5 years in commercial lines account management.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in using in-house CRM systems and Google Suite.
- Soft Skills: Strong communication, organizational, and analytical skills. Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a relaxed yet professional environment.
- Education: Relevant certifications or training in insurance or related fields are a plus.
