Senior Actuary – Professional Lines Pricing

Chicagoland / NYC - Hybrid in office 3 days/week

A leading specialty insurer is seeking a Senior Actuary to play a key role in shaping pricing strategy and profitable growth across their Professional Lines portfolio. This is an excellent opportunity for an ACAS or FCAS with deep Commercial Lines pricing experience and expertise in Professional Lines products such as D&O, E&O, and EPLI.

Responsibilities

• Lead rate indications, pricing analyses, and portfolio management initiatives
• Develop pricing tools and frameworks to support profitable growth
• Evaluate new business opportunities and emerging product lines
• Partner closely with Underwriting, Claims, and senior business leaders
• Present strategic recommendations and actuarial insights to executive leadership
• Mentor junior team members and contribute to enterprise-wide initiatives

Requirements/Preferred background:

• ACAS required, FCAS preferred
• 7+ years of actuarial experience with a strong focus on Commercial Lines Pricing
• Professional Lines experience highly preferred
• Strong project leadership and stakeholder management skills
• Ability to translate complex actuarial analyses into actionable business decisions

Salary range:

$150-195k + strong bonus
