Job Summary

Seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Personal Lines Agent to join a growing team. This role involves providing exceptional service and insurance expertise to clients by assisting individuals and families in identifying and securing personal insurance coverage tailored to their unique needs. The ideal candidate will possess strong communication skills, a commitment to client satisfaction, and a proven ability to thrive in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.

Responsibilities

• Assist clients in understanding and selecting appropriate personal insurance products, including auto, home, and umbrella insurance.
• Build strong, lasting relationships with clients by providing outstanding customer service and timely responses to inquiries or claims.
• Conduct needs assessments and advise clients on personal lines coverage options based on their individual circumstances.
• Sell and renew personal lines insurance policies while ensuring compliance with state and company guidelines.
• Demonstrate expert knowledge of insurance products and maintain compliance with regulatory updates.
• Analyze existing client portfolios to identify potential coverage gaps or additional insurance solutions.
• Proactively follow up on leads and referrals while fostering long-term client loyalty.
• Participate in ongoing training and professional development to remain fully informed on personal lines insurance practices and products.
• Maintain accurate records of client interactions, policy information, and recommendations using the company’s CRM system.
• Collaborate with internal teams to promote a culture of shared expertise and continuous improvement.

Qualifications/Requirements

• Licensure: Holds an active P&C (Property and Casualty) insurance license.
• Experience: Minimum of 1-3 years of experience as a Personal Lines Agent or in a similar insurance sales/service role.
• Skills:
  • Strong knowledge of personal insurance products and policy structures.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Superior customer service and relationship-building abilities.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with meticulous attention to detail.
• Technology: Proficiency in insurance management software and CRM systems; good command of Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).
• Demonstrated ability to work independently and within a team.
• Passionate about delivering client-centered solutions while achieving sales goals.
