Commercial Lines Account Manager

Job Summary

Seeking experienced and dedicated Commercial Lines Account Managers to join a growing team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in handling complex middle-market accounts, particularly those with significant construction and property exposure. This is a hybrid position, offering a balance of remote work and occasional in-office collaboration.

Compensation Package

  • Base Salary: $90,000 - $120,000+ (negotiable based on experience and expertise)

Responsibilities

  • Manage and service assigned commercial accounts, including mid-sized to large accounts with premiums exceeding $200K annually.
  • Handle quoting and remarketing for new and renewal business (approximately 80% renewal, 20% new business).
  • Process certificates of insurance, endorsements, policy changes, invoicing, billing support, audits, and cancellations.
  • Maintain carrier relationships and negotiate terms.
  • Provide full-cycle account management support for producers and clients.
  • Ensure timely and accurate delivery of ID cards, policy documentation, and other client needs.

Qualifications/Requirements

  • Licenses/Designations:
    • Active Texas Property & Casualty License (required).
    • CISR, CIC, or other industry designations (preferred).
  • Experience:
    • Minimum of 5+ years in Commercial Lines Account Management.
    • Proven ability to handle large, complex commercial accounts independently.
    • Strong carrier interaction experience.
    • Independent agency experience (preferred).
  • Technical Skills:
    • Proficiency in Nexsure software (preferred).
  • Soft Skills:
    • Excellent communication and client service skills.
    • Detail-oriented with strong organizational abilities.
    • Effective problem-solving and time management skills.
    • Ability to prioritize competing deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
    • Team-oriented mindset.
