Account Executive (AE)
Job Summary
Seeking a highly motivated and experienced Account Executive (AE) to join our team. This role offers a unique opportunity to work with large group self-funded accounts, ranging from 1,000 to 5,000 lives. The ideal candidate will bring a strong consultant-style approach, a deep understanding of self-funding, and the ability to deliver exceptional client service. This position provides the chance to build and lead a team, leveraging a robust suite of tools and resources to ensure success.
Compensation Package
- Salary Range: $90,000 - $110,000 (commensurate with experience)
- Benefits: Comprehensive benefits package, including generous PTO
- Work Schedule: Year-round half-day Fridays
- Travel: Minimal travel required
Responsibilities
- Manage and grow a portfolio of large group self-funded accounts (1,000-5,000 lives).
- Provide expert consultation to clients, ensuring their needs are met with tailored solutions.
- Collaborate with financial managers, marketing underwriters, and other internal teams to deliver high-quality service.
- Oversee the quoting and renewal process for new and existing business.
- Utilize EPIC software to manage accounts and streamline workflows.
- Build and lead a high-performing team, fostering a culture of collaboration and excellence.
- Stay informed about industry trends and regulatory changes to provide proactive advice to clients.
Qualifications/Requirements
- Licensure/Designations: Active Life & Health (L&H) license required.
- Experience:
- Minimum of 3-5 years of experience managing large group self-funded accounts.
- Proven track record of working with groups ranging from 1,000 to 5,000 lives.
- Strong consultant-style approach with the ability to build lasting client relationships.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in EPIC software preferred.
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, or a related field is preferred.
