Commercial Insurance Producer

Job Summary

Seeking a motivated and results-driven Commercial Insurance Producer to join a growing team. This role is ideal for an experienced professional with a strong background in commercial insurance sales and a proven ability to generate revenue. The successful candidate will focus on developing middle-market commercial accounts across various industries, building relationships with business owners, and driving new business opportunities.

Compensation Package

• Base Salary: Customized draw structure (e.g., approximately $5,000 monthly draw)
• Commissions:
  • 40% New Business Commission
  • 30–35% Renewal Commission
• Additional Benefits: Competitive benefits package

Responsibilities

• Prospect and generate new commercial business opportunities.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with business owners and referral partners.
• Identify and develop new revenue streams to contribute to the agency’s growth.
• Collaborate closely with internal service and marketing teams to ensure client satisfaction.
• Actively contribute to the agency’s overall commercial revenue growth.

Qualifications/Requirements

• Licenses/Designations: Active Property & Casualty License preferred.
• Experience:
  • Previous experience in commercial insurance production strongly preferred.
  • Proven track record of success in new business development and revenue generation.
• Skills:
  • Strong relationship-building and networking abilities.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Self-motivated with a results-oriented mindset.
• Software Proficiency: Familiarity with Applied Epic is preferred.
• Preferred Candidate Profile:
  • Experienced producers are highly desirable.
  • Open to candidates with less experience who demonstrate strong sales potential, drive, and ambition.
