Job Summary
Seeking a results-driven and client-focused Commercial Lines Producer to join a growing team. This role involves building and managing a portfolio of commercial clients, delivering risk management solutions, and providing tailored insurance policies to businesses of various sizes. The position is ideal for an entrepreneurial professional skilled in developing relationships, identifying new business opportunities, and ensuring client satisfaction.
Responsibilities
- Identify, develop, and close new commercial insurance opportunities across multiple industries.
- Build and maintain strong client relationships to understand business needs and risk exposure.
- Provide expert guidance on commercial insurance solutions, including property, liability, worker's compensation, and specialized industry policies.
- Collaborate with underwriting teams to tailor and negotiate competitive insurance programs.
- Stay informed about changes in the commercial insurance market, industry regulations, and emerging trends.
- Respond promptly to client inquiries, provide ongoing policy support, and conduct regular reviews of client coverage.
- Work with internal account managers and support staff to deliver a seamless customer experience.
- Achieve or exceed sales targets and key performance indicators (KPIs).
- Provide risk assessments and offer strategies to minimize exposures.
- Represent the company at community or industry events to build the brand and expand the professional network.
Qualifications/Requirements
- Active property and casualty insurance producer license (required).
- Proven track record in commercial insurance sales or a strong sales background in a related field.
- Knowledge of commercial insurance lines with the ability to interpret policy language and coverage details.
- Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills to build lasting client relationships.
- Self-motivated and results-driven with strong organizational skills.
- Proficient in client relationship management (CRM) software and other sales tools.
- Strong negotiation and problem-solving abilities.
- Bachelor’s degree in business, insurance, finance, or a related field (preferred but not required).
- Multilingual abilities are considered a plus.
