Commercial Lines Marketing Specialist

Job Summary

Seeking a highly motivated and experienced Commercial Lines Marketing Specialist to join a growing commercial lines division. This role is pivotal in supporting the marketing efforts for small to middle-market commercial accounts across various industries. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in commercial insurance marketing, carrier negotiations, and underwriting communication.

Compensation Package

• Salary Range: $75,000 - $85,000 annually
• Benefits Include:

Responsibilities

• Market new and renewal business to carriers
• Prepare and submit carrier submissions
• Obtain and analyze quotations from carriers
• Build and maintain strong relationships with carriers
• Negotiate pricing and coverage terms with carriers
• Gather and organize underwriting information
• Assist with renewal strategies and remarketing efforts
• Collaborate with producers and account managers to meet client needs
• Manage marketing activities using Applied Epic software
• Occasionally attend carrier or industry events

Qualifications/Requirements

• Licenses/Designations: Active Texas P&C License preferred
• Experience: Minimum of 3+ years in commercial insurance marketing, including carrier negotiations, submissions, and remarketing
• Technical Skills: Proficiency in Applied Epic, Microsoft Office Suite, and carrier portals
• Soft Skills:
  • Strong communication and organizational skills
  • Exceptional attention to detail
  • Ability to build and maintain professional relationships
  • Sense of urgency and ability to meet deadlines
