Commercial Account Executive/Senior Account Manager

Job Summary

Seeking a highly skilled and experienced Commercial Account Executive/Senior Account Manager to join a dynamic team. This role involves managing a diverse portfolio of middle-market commercial accounts, fostering strong client relationships, and ensuring seamless service delivery. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in commercial insurance, exceptional organizational skills, and the ability to take ownership of a book of business.

Compensation Package

  • Salary Range: Up to $90,000 (SC) / Up to $110,000 (GA)
  • Benefits: Comprehensive benefits package

Responsibilities

  • Manage a book of business with account sizes ranging from $50,000 to $600,000 in premium, focusing on middle-market accounts.
  • Build and maintain strong client relationships, ensuring high levels of satisfaction and retention.
  • Handle renewals, endorsements, and other account servicing tasks using AMS360 and ImageRight systems.
  • Collaborate with producers and internal teams to quote new and renewal business.
  • Take ownership of the book of business, proactively addressing client needs and ensuring seamless service delivery.
  • Utilize technology and internal resources to streamline processes and improve efficiency.
  • Participate in multi-step interview processes and onboarding to ensure cultural fit and alignment with team goals.

Qualifications/Requirements

  • Experience: Minimum of 7 years in commercial insurance, with a focus on middle-market accounts.
  • Licenses/Certifications: Active Property & Casualty (P&C) license required; CPCU or CIC designation preferred.
  • Technical Skills: Proficiency in AMS360 and ImageRight systems; strong familiarity with quoting, renewals, and endorsements.
  • Industry Knowledge: Experience with generalist accounts, real estate, construction, churches/non-profits, and coastal HOAs is highly desirable.
  • Soft Skills: Strong organizational skills, proactive problem-solving abilities, excellent communication, and a client-focused mindset.
  • Education: Bachelor’s degree preferred but not required.
