Actuary – Inforce Management
Position Summary
Our client is seeking an experienced Actuary – Inforce Management to support the profitability and long-term performance of its life and annuity business. This individual will lead inforce management initiatives, perform actuarial analysis, and partner with cross-functional teams to drive strategic business decisions.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead experience studies, assumption development, and rate recommendations.
- Analyze inforce business performance and provide actionable business insights.
- Support profitability initiatives, reinsurance analyses, and strategic projects.
- Collaborate with Product, Finance, Investments, and other business partners.
- Provide actuarial support for regulatory filings and compliance.
- Manage and mentor actuarial team members while driving process improvements.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Actuarial Science, Mathematics, Statistics, Finance, or a related field.
- ASA or FSA with a minimum of 7 years of actuarial experience.
- Strong analytical, communication, and leadership skills.
- Experience with actuarial modeling, pricing, assumption development, and financial reporting.
- Working knowledge of statutory, GAAP, tax, and regulatory requirements.
Compensation
- $140,000–$210,000 base salary, plus comprehensive benefits and potential incentive compensation.
