Job Summary
Seeking a highly motivated and experienced Commercial Insurance Marketer to join a team. Compensation Package
- Salary Range: $50,000 - $200,000 (commensurate with experience)

Responsibilities
- Market and place new and renewal commercial insurance accounts with carriers to secure competitive terms.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with insurance carriers, underwriters, and wholesalers.
- Analyze client exposures and identify coverage gaps to structure appropriate insurance programs.
- Prepare and submit complete and accurate applications, loss summaries, and supporting documentation to carriers.
- Negotiate terms, conditions, and pricing with underwriters to secure optimal options for clients.
- Review carrier quotes, proposals, and binders for accuracy and completeness.
- Present marketing results and coverage comparisons to account managers, producers, or clients.
- Collaborate with producers and account managers to implement placement strategies.
- Stay updated on insurance market trends, carrier appetites, and industry changes.
- Ensure timely renewals and new business placements before effective dates.
- Maintain organized records of submissions, quotes, and marketing activities within agency systems.
- Assist with remarketing accounts as needed due to pricing, coverage changes, or carrier requirements.
- Ensure compliance with agency procedures, underwriting guidelines, and regulatory requirements.
- Identify opportunities to enhance coverage or improve program structures for existing clients.
- Provide exceptional internal customer service and support to sales and service teams.
Qualifications/Requirements
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in commercial insurance marketing or account management.
- Active 2-20 insurance license is required.
- Proficiency in insurance software such as EZLynx; familiarity with AMS360 is a plus.
- Strong understanding of commercial insurance lines, particularly in hospitality and self-storage industries.
- Proven ability to analyze client needs and develop tailored insurance solutions.
- Excellent negotiation, communication, and relationship-building skills.
- Critical thinker with a proactive and solution-oriented mindset.
- Ability to work independently and thrive in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment.
