Job Summary

Seeking a highly motivated and experienced Employee Benefits / Group Benefits Producer to join a dynamic and entrepreneurial team. This is an exciting opportunity to work in a well-established, independent insurance agency with a strong reputation in the marketplace. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of generating new business, building client relationships, and managing a successful book of business. This role offers the flexibility to work remotely.

Compensation Package

  • Salary: Negotiable based on experience and production history. An initial base salary will be provided during the ramp-up period.
  • Compensation Structure: 50/30 split.
  • Benefits: Comprehensive benefits package provided.
  • Work Environment: Remote work opportunity with optional office presence for team building. Equipment provided for remote work.

Responsibilities

  • Proactively prospect, network, and generate new business opportunities.
  • Conduct benefits presentations and manage a robust sales pipeline.
  • Build and maintain strong client relationships.
  • Close new business deals and ensure client satisfaction.
  • Develop and manage your own book of business, focusing on groups ranging from 10-250 employees.
  • Participate in local client meetings and business development activities.

Qualifications/Requirements

  • Experience: Minimum of 3+ years of successful Employee Benefits or Group Benefits production experience.
  • Licenses: Active Life & Health License preferred.
  • Proven Track Record: Demonstrated ability to independently fill a sales pipeline, prospect, and close business.
  • Technical Skills: Familiarity with Amplo (formerly Veruna) software is a plus.
  • Location: Ohio-based candidates only. Some office presence is preferred but not required.
