Job Summary

Seeking a motivated and entrepreneurial Retail Insurance Producer to join a growing insurance organization. The Retail Insurance Producer will be responsible for developing new business opportunities, cultivating client relationships, and growing a profitable book of business. This individual will serve as a trusted advisor to clients, helping them identify and manage risk through customized insurance solutions.

Responsibilities

  • Generate new business opportunities through networking, referrals, centers of influence, and direct prospecting efforts.

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with business owners, executives, and key decision-makers.

  • Develop and execute strategies to grow a profitable book of business.

  • Identify client needs and recommend appropriate insurance and risk management solutions.

  • Collaborate with internal teams and carrier partners to deliver exceptional service and support.

  • Cross-sell additional products and services where appropriate.

  • Maintain a strong pipeline of prospects and consistently achieve production goals.

  • Stay informed on industry trends, market conditions, and carrier offerings.

  • Establish and maintain long-term client relationships while serving as a trusted advisor.

Qualifications/Requirements

  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in insurance sales, brokerage, or business development.

  • Experience in Commercial Insurance, Employee Benefits, Risk Management, or related insurance disciplines preferred.

  • Demonstrated ability to develop and close new business opportunities.

  • Strong communication, presentation, and relationship-building skills.

  • Entrepreneurial mindset with a desire to grow and manage a personal book of business.

  • Stable career history with a track record of professional growth.

  • Holds an active P&C (Property and Casualty) insurance license and/or an active L&H (Life and Health) insurance license, as applicable to the line of business.

Compensation Package
