Position Summary
They are seeking an experienced High Net Worth Account Executive – Personal Lines to manage and service a sophisticated book of affluent and high-net-worth clients. The ideal candidate will possess extensive experience handling complex personal insurance programs with annual premiums ranging from $20,000 to $100,000+, while delivering concierge-level service and maintaining strong carrier relationships.
This role requires expertise with premier high-net-worth insurance carriers, strong technical coverage knowledge, and the ability to independently manage all aspects of client service, renewals, marketing, and account retention.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage a portfolio of high-net-worth personal lines accounts with annual premiums ranging from $20,000 to $100,000+.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for affluent clients, family offices, and trusted advisors.
- Review coverage needs and identify gaps, exposures, and opportunities for account rounding and enhancement.
- Coordinate policy renewals, remarketing efforts, endorsements, billing inquiries, and claims advocacy.
- Prepare professional insurance proposals, coverage comparisons, and renewal presentations.
- Market accounts to appropriate carriers and negotiate competitive coverage and pricing solutions.
- Maintain strong relationships with underwriting partners and carrier representatives.
- Ensure all client interactions and account activity are accurately documented within the agency management system.
- Deliver exceptional customer service while maintaining high retention levels.
- Stay current on carrier appetite changes, coverage enhancements, and industry trends affecting high-net-worth clients.
- Collaborate with producers and agency leadership to support new business opportunities and account growth.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum 5+ years of Personal Lines insurance experience, with a strong focus on high-net-worth clientele.
- Demonstrated experience managing accounts with annual premiums between $20,000 and $100,000+.
- Extensive knowledge of complex personal insurance programs, including:
- High-value homes
- Luxury and collector automobiles
- Valuable articles and collections
- Excess liability/Umbrella
- Secondary residences
- Watercraft and specialty exposures
- Hands-on experience with:
- Proven experience working with the following carriers:
- Chubb
- PURE Insurance
- The Cincinnati Insurance Company
- Berkley One
- Strong understanding of coverage analysis, policy forms, underwriting guidelines, and carrier appetite.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to prioritize, organize, and manage multiple accounts in a fast-paced environment.
- Active Property & Casualty Insurance License required.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience working within an independent insurance agency environment.
- Professional insurance designations such as CISR, CIC, CPRIA, or CRM.
- Experience servicing family offices, executives, professional athletes, entertainers, or ultra-high-net-worth individuals.
- Strong carrier marketing and negotiation skills.
