Commercial Lines Account Manager

Job Summary

Seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Commercial Lines Account Manager to join a team of professionals. This role is ideal for someone with a strong background in commercial insurance, excellent organizational skills, and a passion for delivering exceptional client service. The position is primarily in-office, with some remote flexibility, and requires proximity within a 30-minute drive of the office.

Compensation Package

• Salary: $60,000 - $80,000 (Dependent on Experience)

Responsibilities

As a Commercial Lines Account Manager, your key responsibilities will include:

• Assisting with marketing and proposal preparation
• Managing the renewal process and reviewing renewal quotes
• Rating and analyzing claims reviews
• Preparing loss summaries and identifying coverage discrepancies
• Interacting with clients regarding policy changes and endorsements
• Making changes to Acord applications in Applied Epic
• Generating certificates of insurance and processing audits
• Performing billing functions and handling policy endorsements
• Utilizing strong Microsoft Word and Excel skills for daily tasks

Qualifications/Requirements

• Licenses/Designations: Property & Casualty (P&C) license required
• Experience: Minimum of 2 years in a similar role; 2-3 years preferred
• Technical Skills:
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Word and Excel
  • Experience with Applied Epic software is a plus
• Other Requirements:
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
  • Ability to work collaboratively with a team and independently
  • Proximity within a 30-minute drive of the office is essential
