Assistant Vice President (AVP), Marketing & Communications
Location: Sarasota, FL (on-site 5 days/week; occasional travel to Orlando)
Compensation: $160K–$175K
Position Overview
The AVP of Marketing & Communications will lead the company’s enterprise-wide marketing, branding, and communications strategy to support growth initiatives, including product launches, market expansion, and new business ventures. This individual will serve as the strategic leader for all marketing and communications functions, partnering closely with executive leadership to drive brand positioning, revenue growth, and organizational visibility across multiple entities.

The ideal candidate is a strategic, hands-on marketing executive with expertise in brand management, product commercialization, communications, and growth strategy within a fast-paced, high-growth environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and execute enterprise marketing and communications strategies aligned with business objectives
- Lead brand architecture, positioning, and governance across multiple companies and products
- Drive go-to-market strategies for new products, business lines, and market launches
- Partner cross-functionally with Product, Sales, Underwriting, Actuarial, Legal, and Compliance teams
- Oversee internal and external communications, executive messaging, and stakeholder engagement
- Lead digital marketing, content strategy, social media, and multi-channel campaigns
- Build and develop a high-performing marketing and communications team
- Manage marketing budgets, agency/vendor relationships, and performance analytics
- Support enterprise events, agent engagement initiatives, and brand experience programs
- Utilize data and market insights to optimize marketing effectiveness and business outcomes
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree required; MBA or related advanced degree preferred
- 10+ years of progressive marketing, communications, or brand leadership experience
- 5+ years in senior leadership roles
- Insurance, MGA, or regulated industry experience strongly preferred
- Proven success with product launches, market expansion, and multi-entity organizations
- Strong executive presence, strategic mindset, and leadership capabilities
