Job Summary

Seeking a dynamic and experienced Commercial Lines Team Lead to join a growing team. This role is pivotal in managing a diversified book of business while leading and mentoring a team of professionals. Compensation Package

  • Salary Range: $115,000 - $185,000 annually

Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage a team of 8 employees, including Account Managers, Senior Client Managers, and Client Executives.
  • Oversee a diversified book of business (~$500k in revenue) across industries such as healthcare, transportation, manufacturing, and life sciences.
  • Provide direct client-facing services while coaching and mentoring team members to achieve their professional goals.
  • Ensure team accountability and maintain a collaborative, problem-solving work environment.
  • Utilize EPIC software to manage accounts and streamline processes.
  • Actively contribute to the agency’s growth and success by fostering strong client relationships and delivering exceptional service.

Qualifications/Requirements

  • Experience: Minimum of 5+ years in a similar role, with proven experience in people leadership and managing a team of comparable size.
  • Licenses/Certifications: Property & Casualty (P&C) license required (will be provided within the first two months if not already obtained).
  • Technical Skills: Proficiency in EPIC software is preferred. Must be highly tech-savvy and adaptable to new technologies.
  • Soft Skills: Strong attention to detail, excellent relationship-building abilities, and a collaborative team-oriented mindset.
  • Work Environment: Must be available to work in-office at least three days per week to provide stability and support to the team.
  • Passion for Insurance: A genuine interest in the insurance industry and the value it provides to clients.
