Commercial Lines Account Manager
Job Summary
Seeking a highly motivated and experienced Commercial Lines Account Manager to join a dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in risk management, group captive programs, and surplus lines business. This role involves managing a generalist book of business with a focus on middle-market accounts, particularly in the construction industry.
Compensation Package
- Salary Range: $60,000 - $90,000 annually
- Bonus: 25% performance-based bonus.

Responsibilities
- Service and manage a book of small to mid-sized accounts, focusing on relationship building and client satisfaction.
- Handle daily tasks such as issuing certificates, reporting claims, billing, and reviewing coverages.
- Market renewals and bring in new business opportunities.
- Provide risk management solutions, particularly for surplus lines and group captive programs.
- Collaborate with clients in industries such as heavy construction and other generalist sectors.
- Utilize agency management systems, with a preference for EPIC.
- Participate in weekly team meetings and contribute to a collaborative work environment.
Qualifications/Requirements
- Experience: Minimum of 3 years in a similar role, preferably in a brokerage setting. Candidates with experience in Farmers or captive agencies will not be considered.
- Licenses/Certifications: Active Property & Casualty (P&C) license required.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in agency management systems, with EPIC experience highly preferred.
- Industry Knowledge: Familiarity with group captive programs, risk management, and surplus lines business is essential.
- Soft Skills: Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build and maintain client relationships.
- Work Arrangement: Open to remote candidates, but preference will be given to those who can work on-site or in a hybrid capacity. A one-week training period is required, either in-office or remotely.
