Job Summary

Seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Commercial Lines Account Manager to join a team. This role involves managing and growing a portfolio of commercial insurance accounts, providing exceptional service, and fostering strong client relationships. Acting as a trusted advisor, the position ensures clients receive tailored solutions that address their specific business needs. Ideal candidates will have a solid background in account management and excel in a dynamic, collaborative environment.

Responsibilities

  • Build and maintain strong client relationships, delivering outstanding customer service and support.
  • Assess client needs and design customized insurance programs and coverage options.
  • Oversee renewal processes, ensuring smooth transitions and addressing any changes in client requirements.
  • Act as the primary contact for client inquiries, claims, and resolution of policy-related issues.
  • Collaborate with underwriters, carriers, and stakeholders to negotiate terms and provide competitive solutions.
  • Monitor industry trends, market conditions, and new product offerings to educate clients and anticipate future needs.
  • Maintain accurate records of policies, communications, and account activities in the CRM system.
  • Identify opportunities to grow existing accounts and cross-sell additional products and services.
  • Assist the sales team in onboarding new clients and effectively managing their accounts.
  • Ensure adherence to all relevant regulations, guidelines, and company policies regarding insurance services.

Qualifications/Requirements

  • Proven experience as an Account Manager, ideally in the commercial insurance or risk management sector.
  • Comprehensive knowledge of commercial insurance products, policy coverages, and regulations.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills for building lasting client relationships.
  • Proficiency in CRM systems, Microsoft Office Suite, and related tools.
  • Exceptional attention to detail and problem-solving abilities with a client-focused mindset.
  • Skilled at managing multiple client accounts and prioritizing tasks efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
  • Holds an active P&C (Property and Casualty) insurance license.
