Temp to Hire / Full-Time
Compensation Range: $55K - $68K
Location: Orange County, CA / Remote
Core Responsibilities:
- Month-End Support: posting journal entries for accruals and prepaids.
- Inventory Reconciliations: tying subledgers to the GL and resolving variances.
- AP/AR Support: posting bills, processing payments, commissions, collections, and recording deposits.
- Bank Rec. Support: tying deposits and payments to bank statements.
- Fixed Assets: maintaining asset lists and monthly depreciation schedules.
- Allowance for Bad Debt: maintaining schedules and preparing simple entries.
Required Experience / Qualifications / Education:
- Degree in Accounting or Finance
- 0-3 years of experience
- Deep/Strong Excel Proficiency: VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP | SUMIF/SUMIFS | Basic INDEX/MATCH | Accruals | Reconciliations
- Build and refresh Pivot Tables to summarize data.
- Comfortable recording/editing simple macros.
- Open to learning a mid-market ERP quickly – Currently using Epicor Prophet 21, moving to Accumatica.
- Detail-oriented, good with numbers, and able to follow documented processes.
- Strong communicator in a remote environment (responsive via email/Teams).
