Commercial Insurance Assistant Account Manager (Executive Risk)

Job Summary

Seeking a detail-oriented and dedicated Commercial Insurance Assistant Account Manager to join a Executive Risk team. In this role, you will assist in servicing commercial property and casualty insurance accounts while providing technical support to ensure the highest level of client satisfaction.

Compensation Package

  • Salary: $55,000 - $72,000 annually ($25 - $32 per hour), based on experience

Responsibilities

  • Prepare draft applications, coverage bound letters, cancellations, schedules of insurance, proposals, and documentation for new accounts in Sagitta.
  • Review and process various insurance documents, including invoices (excluding Surplus Lines invoices and filings), applications, endorsements, certificates, and general correspondence.
  • Identify and address policy discrepancies, collaborating with Account Managers to ensure accuracy in Sagitta or initiating necessary policy changes.
  • Maintain organized and accurate electronic account files using the Image Right Document Management System.
  • Ensure compliance with established procedures to prevent errors and omissions.
  • Provide exceptional customer service to clients and internal team members.
  • Perform additional duties and projects as assigned.

Qualifications/Requirements

  • Education: High school diploma required.
  • Experience:
    • Minimum of 2 years of insurance experience required.
    • Working knowledge of Executive Risk and Commercial lines of coverage preferred.
    • Experience with EPIC systems is highly desirable.
  • Skills:
    • Strong written and oral communication skills.
    • Exceptional attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines.
    • Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel (intermediate level).
    • Critical thinking and problem-solving abilities.
    • Team-oriented mindset with a commitment to collaboration.
  • Licenses/Certifications: Property & Casualty (P&C) license required.
  • Physical Requirements:
    • Ability to occasionally stand, walk, and stoop.
    • Must regularly lift and/or move up to 10 pounds.
