Personal Lines Customer Service Representative (CSR)

Job Summary

Seeking a dedicated and professional Personal Lines Customer Service Representative (CSR) to join a team. This role is ideal for a licensed insurance professional who thrives in a customer-focused environment. You will be the primary point of contact for our clients, providing exceptional service and support for their personal insurance needs.

Responsibilities

  • Serve as the primary contact for personal lines insurance clients, addressing inquiries, processing payments, and resolving issues in a timely and professional manner.
  • Manage the day-to-day operations of the office, ensuring a welcoming and efficient environment for walk-in clients, particularly older clientele.
  • Process policy changes, renewals, and cancellations accurately and in compliance with company and regulatory guidelines.
  • Provide expert guidance to clients on their personal insurance policies, including coverage options, policy terms, and claims processes.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date client records in the system.
  • Collaborate with other team members and departments to ensure seamless service delivery.

Qualifications/Requirements

  • Active insurance license is required.
  • Proven experience in personal lines insurance, with a strong understanding of insurance products and services.
  • Exceptional customer service and communication skills, with the ability to build rapport with clients of all ages.
  • Strong organizational skills and the ability to work independently, as this role will require managing the office solo.
  • Proficiency in using insurance management software and standard office applications.
  • High level of professionalism, reliability, and attention to detail.
