Job Description

Insurance Sales Executive – Employee Benefits

Job Summary

Seeking high-performing, entrepreneurial Insurance Sales Executives specializing in Employee Benefits to join a dynamic and growth-oriented team in the Midwest. This role is ideal for professionals who thrive on autonomy, ownership, and the opportunity to achieve significant financial upside. As an Insurance Sales Executive, you will focus on generating new business, building a high-quality book of business, and collaborating with a dedicated service team to deliver exceptional client outcomes. This is a hybrid role, requiring a connection to a designated office.

Compensation Package

  • Draw-Based Model: Compensation is structured as a draw, equivalent to one-quarter of your annual production capacity. For example, a $300,000 base pay corresponds to $1.2 million in production.
  • Transition Period: Optional 1–2 year W2 transition period, if needed.
  • Long-Term Upside: Full partner economics over time, with significant flexibility in income allocation.
  • Average Producer Book: ~$5 million in revenue.

Responsibilities

  • Generate new, qualified business through self-directed sales strategies.
  • Build and grow a long-term, high-quality book of business.
  • Collaborate with a Unit Manager to allocate resources and manage growth effectively.
  • Leverage dedicated service and associate teams for client servicing and execution.
  • Reinvest strategically in business development, client engagement, and service excellence.

Qualifications/Requirements

  • Proven track record as a high-performing producer with strong sales capabilities.
  • Entrepreneurial mindset with a comfort level for financial risk and autonomy.
  • Growth-oriented and highly motivated by the potential for significant financial upside.
  • Ability to operate effectively with minimal top-down constraints.
  • Strong cultural alignment with a producer-led organization.
  • Open to candidates from non-insurance backgrounds with demonstrated "grit" and sales experience (e.g., professional or collegiate athletes, military academy graduates, or Navy SEAL training graduates).
  • Willingness to engage in a thorough vetting and evaluation process.
