Executive Employee Benefits Account Manager (EBAM)
Job Summary
Seeking a dedicated and experienced Executive Employee Benefits Account Manager (EBAM) to join a team. This role is not a straight producer position but focuses on managing and nurturing existing client relationships, handling renewals, and supporting warm leads. The ideal candidate will be client-facing, capable of managing accounts from A-Z, and experienced in self-funded benefits. This is a hybrid role, offering a mix of in-office and remote work, with most travel being local and occasional virtual client meetings.
Compensation Package
- Base Salary: $65,000 - $85,000 (commensurate with experience)
- Bonus Opportunities: New business commission negotiable, end-of-year performance-based bonuses (up to $4,000, prorated based on start date)
- Profit Sharing: Employee holding shares with longevity.

Responsibilities
- Manage a portfolio of 50+ client accounts, ranging from small to large groups
- Handle renewals, quoting, enrollments, and open enrollment support
- Serve as the primary client contact, addressing claims questions, terms for new hires, and other inquiries
- Conduct client meetings in person (using company vehicles) or virtually, as needed
- Collaborate with internal support teams to ensure seamless client service
- Work with warm leads provided by Commercial Producers or other sources
- Utilize agency management systems such as Partner Platform and Navigator
Qualifications/Requirements
- Proven experience in employee benefits account management, including self-funded benefits
- Strong client-facing skills with the ability to build and maintain relationships
- Proficiency in agency management systems (e.g., Partner Platform, Navigator, Ease)
- Excellent organizational and communication skills
- Ability to manage multiple accounts and prioritize tasks effectively
- Flexibility to work in a hybrid environment (3 days in-office, 2 days remote)
- Local travel required; must have a valid driver’s license
