Commercial Lines Account Assistant
Job Summary
Seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Commercial Lines Account Assistant to join a dynamic and growing team. This role is integral to supporting the Account Managers in marketing and placing commercial lines insurance, ensuring the highest level of service for the clients. Compensation Package
- Salary Range: $60,000 - $80,000 (commensurate with experience and qualifications, such as AMS360 proficiency or licensure).
- Benefits: Comprehensive benefits package.
- 401(k): 50% match up to 6% after one year of employment.
- Profit Sharing Bonuses: Based on agency and carrier profits, ranging from 8% to 20%.

Responsibilities
- Develop and execute marketing strategies for new and renewal business.
- Prepare and submit accurate carrier submissions.
- Quote coverage using carrier tools and underwriter submissions.
- Analyze quotes, pricing, and terms, and negotiate as needed.
- Prepare marketing summaries and track placement activity.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with carriers and internal teams.
- Assist in preparing client proposals and presentations.
- Document all activity in the agency management system (AMS360).
- Stay current on industry trends and underwriting guidelines.
- Ensure compliance with company procedures and regulatory requirements.
Qualifications/Requirements
- Experience: Minimum of 2 years of experience in an administrative, customer service, or insurance-related role preferred.
- Licensure: Property and Casualty insurance license preferred but not required. Candidates must be willing to obtain licensure if not already licensed.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook) required. Experience with AMS360 or other CRM/insurance software is a plus.
- Knowledge: Basic understanding of commercial insurance is a plus, though training will be provided.
- Soft Skills: Strong attention to detail, excellent communication skills, and the ability to build relationships with clients and team members.
