Responsibilities
- Develop and execute a strategic sales plan to identify and secure new commercial insurance clients within the assigned territory.
- Assess client needs by conducting thorough risk evaluations to recommend appropriate insurance products and services.
- Build and foster long-lasting relationships with commercial clients to ensure client satisfaction and retention.
- Collaborate with underwriters, claims teams, and other internal stakeholders to tailor insurance packages and address client requirements.
- Identify and resolve coverage gaps for existing clients by proposing enhanced solutions.
- Maintain thorough knowledge of commercial insurance markets, products, features, and competitive distinctions.
- Conduct presentations, open enrollment meetings, and educational workshops for prospective and current clients.
- Keep accurate and detailed records of sales activities, client interactions, and policy documents in compliance with company and industry regulations.
- Meet or exceed sales targets and performance metrics while maintaining high standards of ethical sales practices.
- Stay current on industry trends, changes in insurance regulations, and emerging risks.
Qualifications/Requirements
- Proven experience in insurance sales or related field, with a strong focus on commercial lines.
- Solid understanding of property, casualty, liability, and other commercial insurance products.
- Holds an active P&C (Property and Casualty) insurance license.
- Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to effectively build rapport and establish trust with clients.
- Highly organized and detail-oriented, with strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
- Proficiency in CRM systems, sales software, and basic Microsoft Office Suite applications.
- Adept at managing time efficiently, multitasking, and prioritizing client needs in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a team setting.
