Job Summary
Seeking a motivated and dynamic Commercial Lines Producer to join a growing team. The ideal candidate will develop and maintain relationships with clients, provide tailored insurance solutions, and focus on the growth of the commercial lines business. With a customer-centric, consultative approach, this role ensures the highest level of service is delivered to clients, helping them protect their businesses while achieving their risk management goals. Responsibilities

  • Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with new and existing clients to determine their commercial insurance needs.
  • Identify new business opportunities and develop strategies to grow the commercial lines portfolio.
  • Act as a trusted advisor, providing expert guidance on commercial insurance products, risk management, and financial protection solutions.
  • Collaborate with internal teams, such as underwriters and account managers, to ensure accurate and timely delivery of insurance proposals and policies.
  • Regularly review and assess clients’ coverage, ensuring alignment with their evolving business needs.
  • Stay informed on current industry trends, regulatory requirements, and emerging risks to better guide clients and identify opportunities.
  • Attend networking events, industry conferences, and community functions to build relationships and enhance brand visibility.
  • Ensure compliance with all insurance regulations, company standards, and best practices when selling and servicing products.

Qualifications/Requirements

  • Active and valid Insurance Producer License.
  • Proven experience in commercial insurance sales, with knowledge of various coverage types (property, liability, workers' compensation, cyber, etc.).
  • Demonstrated ability to build and maintain strong client relationships.
  • Strong negotiation, presentation, and communication skills.
  • Results-driven, self-motivated, and comfortable working independently as well as part of a team.
  • Ability to analyze client needs and develop customized risk management solutions.
  • Proficiency in using insurance-related software, CRM systems, and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Insurance, or a related field preferred (or equivalent industry experience).
