Commercial Insurance Sales Executive
Job Summary
Seeking a dynamic and results-driven Commercial Insurance Sales Executive to join a growing team. This role offers an exciting opportunity to work with a variety of middle-market accounts, including Commercial Real Estate, Construction, Contractors, and Aviation. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in commercial insurance sales, a strong understanding of the industry, and the ability to build and maintain lasting client relationships.
Compensation Package
- Base Salary: $100,000 - $125,000 annually, plus commission.
- Commission Structure:
- Year 1: $100,000 base salary + 25% commission on all qualifying cases.
- Year 2: $100,000 (75% salary, 25% draw) + commission if exceeding draw.
- Year 3: $100,000 (50% salary, 50% draw) + commission if exceeding draw.
- Year 4: Compensation based on book size (25% of book, 40% new business).

Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain a robust pipeline of middle-market commercial insurance clients.
- Focus on key industries such as Commercial Real Estate, Construction, Contractors, and Aviation.
- Build and nurture strong relationships with clients, providing tailored insurance solutions to meet their needs.
- Collaborate with internal teams to ensure seamless service delivery and client satisfaction.
- Utilize EPIC software to manage accounts and maintain accurate records.
- Stay informed about industry trends and market conditions to identify new business opportunities.
- Travel within the Nassau and Suffolk County territory as required.
Qualifications/Requirements
- Licenses/Certifications: Active Property & Casualty (P&C) or Life & Health (L&H) license required.
- Experience: Minimum of 3 years of experience in commercial insurance sales, with expertise in one or more of the following areas: business, real estate, construction, contractors, aviation, or benefits.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in EPIC software is preferred.
- Education: Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in a related field.
- Skills: Strong communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
- Work Ethic: Self-motivated, results-oriented, and able to work independently in a hybrid environment.
