Commercial Lines Account Manager

Job Summary

Seeking a highly motivated and experienced Commercial Lines Account Manager to join a growing team. This role offers the opportunity to work with a diverse portfolio of clients in the hospitality and retail sectors, supporting both large, complex accounts and smaller, emerging clients. The ideal candidate will bring a client-first approach, a passion for the insurance industry, and a strong background in commercial lines.

Compensation Package

  • Salary Range: $80,000 - $100,000+ (depending on experience)
  • Work Arrangement: Hybrid (3 days in-office for the first month, then 1 day per week in-office thereafter)

Responsibilities

  • Assist the Account Executive in managing the largest and most complex accounts, including renewal efforts, endorsements, and certificates.
  • Partner directly with smaller and emerging clients to handle renewals, marketing, and day-to-day service needs.
  • Quote new and renewal business as required.
  • Provide exceptional service to clients in the hospitality and retail sectors, with account sizes ranging from $50,000 to $2 million in premium.
  • Support a book of business generating $1.8 million in revenue.

Qualifications/Requirements

  • Licenses/Certifications: Property & Casualty (P&C) license required.
  • Experience:
    • Minimum of 5+ years of experience in commercial lines account management.
    • Strong expertise in Workers’ Compensation, Property, and Inland Marine.
    • Experience with Ocean Marine and Commercial Auto is a plus.
    • Prior experience working with large restaurant chains and the retail sector is highly desirable.
  • Technical Skills: Proficiency in AMS 360 software.
