Vice President, Real Estate Unit Leader
Job Summary
Seeking a dynamic and experienced Vice President, Real Estate Unit Leader to join a team. This high-impact leadership role is pivotal in managing some of the firm’s largest Commercial Real Estate clients while leading a high-performing Real Estate Client Success Unit. As a key strategic partner, you will drive operational excellence, uphold cultural standards, and advance one of the most important industry verticals. Compensation Package
- Base Salary: $180,000 annually
- Bonus: Performance-based bonus structure

- Work Environment: Semi-hybrid (flexible) for local candidates in Kansas City; fully remote options available with provided equipment
Responsibilities
- Lead and mentor a high-performing Real Estate Client Success Unit, fostering a culture of collaboration and continuous improvement.
- Manage a portfolio of large market real estate accounts, averaging $200,000+ in revenue.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, providing expert guidance and solutions for complex real estate claims.
- Develop and execute strategic marketing and placement initiatives, negotiating and building strong relationships with carriers and stakeholders.
- Act as a problem-solver and thought leader, driving innovation and efficiency within the team.
- Collaborate with leadership to advance the firm’s real estate vertical and achieve business growth objectives.
Qualifications/Requirements
- Experience: Minimum of 10 years of experience managing large market real estate accounts, with a proven track record of success in client-facing roles.
- Licenses/Designations: Property & Casualty (P&C) license required.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in Epic software and a strong understanding of marketing and placement processes within the real estate sector.
- Soft Skills: Problem-solving mindset, ability to think outside the box, self-starter attitude, team-oriented, and collaborative.
- Preferred Background: Prior experience with large firms is highly desirable.
