Commercial Lines Account Manager (CLAM)
Job Summary
Seeking a dedicated and experienced Commercial Lines Account Manager (CLAM) to join our team. This is an exciting opportunity to work with a diverse portfolio of accounts, including contractors, manufacturing, restaurants, and generalist businesses.
Compensation Package
- Salary Range: $70,000 - $120,000 (commensurate with experience)
- Work Environment: On-site position at our Arlington Heights, IL office
Responsibilities
- Manage and service a diverse book of commercial lines accounts, including contractors, manufacturing, restaurants, and generalist businesses.
- Handle quoting for new and renewal business, with a focus on renewals (approximately 75%).
- Provide exceptional customer service by addressing client inquiries, resolving issues, and ensuring client satisfaction.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure seamless account management and client retention.
- Utilize EPIC software to manage accounts and maintain accurate records.
- Stay informed about industry trends and regulatory changes to provide clients with the best possible advice and solutions.
Qualifications/Requirements
- Licenses/Certifications: Property & Casualty (P&C) license required.
- Experience: Minimum of 4 years of experience in commercial lines account management, preferably with small shop experience.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in EPIC software is preferred.

- Strong multitasking abilities and organizational skills.
- A proactive, Type A personality with a strong work ethic.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a professional team environment.
- Stability in career history (non-job-hopping).
