Job Summary

Seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Commercial Lines Account Manager to join a team. This role involves managing one of the larger books of business in the office, with a focus on commercial lines accounts, particularly in the construction sector. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in insurance, excellent communication skills, and a commitment to providing exceptional service to our clients. This position offers a hybrid work schedule and a supportive, employee-focused environment.

Compensation Package

  • Salary Range: $75,000 - $100,000 (commensurate with experience)
  • Benefits: Comprehensive medical, dental, and vision coverage
  • Paid Time Off: Up to 26 days of PTO, depending on experience
  • Bonuses: Christmas and year-end bonuses
  • Work Schedule: Hybrid model (2 days from home one week, 3 days the following week) and half-days every other Friday

Responsibilities

  • Manage a portfolio of commercial lines accounts, with a focus on construction-related clients (e.g., homebuilders, risk transfers, construction additional insureds)
  • Handle daily tasks such as processing renewals, endorsements, billing inquiries, client questions, claims submissions, and certificates of insurance
  • Collaborate with producers on renewal marketing efforts
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records in AMS360 software
  • Provide exceptional customer service and build strong relationships with clients
  • Ensure compliance with company policies and industry regulations

Qualifications/Requirements

  • Licensure: Property & Casualty (P&C) license required
  • Experience: Minimum of 3 years in a similar role, with a strong understanding of commercial lines insurance
  • Technical Skills: Proficiency in AMS360 software preferred
  • Industry Knowledge: Familiarity with handling accounts in the construction sector, including risk transfers and additional insureds
  • Skills:
    • Detail-oriented with excellent organizational abilities
    • Strong written and verbal communication skills
    • Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively
  • Work Environment: Hybrid work schedule available; occasional travel may be required
