Job Summary

Seeking an experienced and dynamic Commercial Account Manager to join a growing team. This role serves as the primary point of contact for commercial clients, focusing on building and maintaining strong relationships while identifying new business opportunities. The position plays a key role in ensuring client satisfaction and delivering tailored solutions that align with business needs.

Responsibilities

  • Serve as the primary point of contact for an assigned portfolio of commercial accounts, ensuring their needs are met with a high level of professionalism.
  • Develop and maintain strong, long-term relationships with clients by understanding their business objectives and providing tailored solutions.
  • Identify and pursue opportunities to grow revenue through upselling and cross-selling products and services.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to ensure seamless onboarding, support, and service delivery for clients.
  • Conduct regular reviews with clients to assess satisfaction, provide updates on performance metrics, and align on strategic initiatives.
  • Analyze market trends and competitive landscapes to address client needs and identify new business opportunities proactively.
  • Act as a liaison between clients and the organization to resolve issues and ensure outstanding customer service.
  • Oversee contracts, renewals, and financial agreements with clients in a timely and compliant manner.
  • Provide accurate forecasting and reporting of client activity, sales pipeline, and account performance.

Qualifications/Requirements

  • Proven experience as an Account Manager, Commercial Account Manager, or in a similar client-facing role.
  • Strong understanding of account management principles, including relationship-building and consultative selling.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to engage with diverse clients and teams.
  • Demonstrated success in meeting or exceeding sales targets and maintaining high client retention rates.
  • Analytical mindset with the ability to leverage data to identify opportunities and make informed decisions.
  • Proficiency in CRM systems and other office software (e.g., Microsoft Office Suite).
  • Strong organizational skills with attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Communications, Marketing, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
