Job Summary

Seeking a highly motivated and experienced Commercial Lines Team Lead to oversee and enhance the daily operations of the commercial lines department. This role is pivotal in ensuring the performance, efficiency, and profitability of the team while fostering a culture of collaboration and excellence. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in team management, a deep understanding of account management, and a commitment to delivering exceptional client service.

Compensation Package

  • Salary: $115,000 - $125,000 annually

Responsibilities

  • Provide overall management and oversight of daily operations within the commercial lines department.
  • Develop and implement strategies to improve performance, efficiency, and profitability.
  • Enhance processes to support organizational goals and maximize productivity.
  • Lead and mentor a team of service representatives, fostering knowledge sharing and collaboration.
  • Ensure compliance with agency service standards, rules, regulations, and procedures.
  • Design and implement systems and procedures to achieve financial and performance goals.
  • Develop, document, and audit agency operating procedures and service expectations.
  • Conduct interviews, hire personnel, and oversee team member training and performance evaluations.
  • Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of training programs, making adjustments as needed.
  • Lead and direct the work activities of the team, ensuring alignment with organizational objectives.

Qualifications/Requirements

  • Licenses/Designations: Property & Casualty (P&C) license required.
  • Experience:
    • Minimum of 10+ years in account management.
    • At least 3 years of experience in a team lead or managerial role.
  • Technical Skills: Proficiency in Epic software.
  • Soft Skills:
    • Professional demeanor.
    • Strong sense of accountability.
    • Ability to work effectively with team members.
  • Other Requirements:
    • Ability to quickly adapt and perform all required responsibilities with minimal training.
