Benefits Analyst
Job Summary
Seeking a detail-oriented and organized Benefits Analyst to join a dynamic team. This role is integral to operations, focusing on the preparation and management of Requests for Proposals (RFPs), data analysis, and presentation creation. The successful candidate will initially join the Benefits Analyst team for a period of 3-6 months, with the opportunity to transition to a growing team within the organization. This position offers a unique opportunity to work with a wide range of benefit carriers and contribute to a high-volume, fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities
- Develop and manage RFPs, including creating and collecting data, formatting templates, and attaching relevant documents.
- Monitor and manage deadlines and expectations for RFP submissions.
- Compile and analyze proposal data to create standardized presentations using Excel.
- Collaborate with a team to handle high volumes of groups during open enrollment and regular periods.
- Work with a variety of benefit carriers, including 30-40 ancillary benefit companies, 20 medical carriers, and over 20 PEO carriers.
- Utilize advanced Excel functions such as VLOOKUPs and XLOOKUPs for data analysis.
- Participate in in-person training sessions and occasional city-based meetings.
Qualifications/Requirements
- Minimum of 2 years of relevant experience preferred; candidates with less experience but strong potential will also be considered.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including advanced functions like VLOOKUPs and XLOOKUPs.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines in a high-volume environment.
- Goal-oriented mindset with a passion for working with data and numbers.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
