Job Summary
Seeking a dedicated and professional Commercial Customer Service Representative (CSR) to join a growing team. This is an exciting opportunity to work in a dynamic and bilingual environment, specializing in both Commercial Lines (CL) and Personal Lines (PL) insurance. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in customer service, a passion for the insurance industry, and the ability to manage small to mid-sized accounts effectively. This position offers a hybrid work schedule, with three days in-office and two days remote.
Compensation Package
- Salary: $65,000 - $85,000 annually, based on experience.
- Benefits:
- Medical insurance (Cigna) and dental insurance (Delta Dental) with a $400 monthly contribution towards premiums.
- 401(k) plan with Safe Harbor contributions after the first year.
- Quarterly bonuses after one year of employment.
- Benefits eligibility begins 30 days after the start date.
- Work Schedule: Monday to Friday, 8:30 AM - 5:00 PM (phones active from 9:00 AM to 4:00 PM).
- Hybrid Work Model: 3 days in-office, 2 days remote.
Responsibilities
- Manage a book of business currently valued at $17M, split among the Commercial Lines team.
- Handle small to mid-sized accounts, including contractors, liability, workers' compensation, auto, and general liability policies.
- Provide exceptional customer service to clients, addressing inquiries and resolving issues promptly.
- Quote new and renewal business, with a focus on 25% new business and 15% renewal commissions.
- Utilize Hawksoft software to manage accounts and maintain accurate records.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure seamless operations and client satisfaction.
Qualifications/Requirements
- Licensing: Active insurance license is required.
- Experience: 1-3 years of experience in a similar role within the insurance industry.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in Hawksoft software is preferred.
- Knowledge of Carriers: Familiarity with Progressive, Guard, Hartford, Merchants, Cincinnati, Liberty Mutual, and Hanover is a plus.
- Education: High school diploma or equivalent; additional certifications or training in insurance is a plus.
- Skills: Strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills. Ability to work effectively in a bilingual environment is an advantage.
