Senior Commercial Lines Account Manager

Job Summary

Seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Commercial Lines Account Manager to join a well-established, independent insurance agency. With a rich history dating back to 1893, pride ourselves on providing exceptional service to the clients. This role involves managing a diverse portfolio of commercial accounts, with a focus on delivering comprehensive insurance solutions and maintaining strong client relationships. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in the insurance industry, particularly within an agency setting, and a passion for excellence in client service.

Compensation Package

• Salary Range: Up to $100,000, commensurate with experience and book size.
• Benefits: Comprehensive benefits package offered.
• Work Arrangement: Hybrid work model preferred (1 day in-office minimum) for candidates located in the Fairfax/McLean/Tysons area.

Responsibilities

• Manage a diverse portfolio of commercial accounts, including generalist accounts with a focus on construction.
• Provide end-to-end servicing of accounts, including quoting new and renewal business.
• Collaborate with internal teams to ensure seamless account management and client satisfaction.
• Maintain and grow a book of business, ensuring alignment with agency goals and objectives.
• Utilize AMS 360 software to manage accounts and streamline processes.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, carriers, and team members.

Qualifications/Requirements

• Active Property & Casualty (P&C) license is required.
• Minimum of 5-7 years of experience in an insurance agency, with a proven ability to manage a larger book of business ($2 million+).
• Strong knowledge of commercial insurance products and services, with experience in construction accounts preferred.
• Proficiency in AMS 360 software is highly preferred.
• Exceptional organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a hybrid work environment.
• Candidates with experience in Erie Insurance agencies are highly desirable.
