Customer Service Representative - Personal Lines

Job Summary

Seeking a dedicated and professional Customer Service Representative (CSR) to join a close-knit, family-owned insurance agency. This role focuses on Personal Lines and offers an excellent opportunity to work in a supportive environment that values work-life balance and fosters a collaborative culture. As a CSR, you will play a vital role in managing client relationships, handling policy changes, and addressing customer needs.

Compensation Package

  • Salary: $50,000 - $65,000 annually, based on experience
  • 401(k): Roth Account
  • Work Environment: In-office with hybrid flexibility as needed
  • Benefits: No additional benefits provided

Responsibilities

  • Manage client relationships and provide exceptional customer service
  • Handle policy changes and address carrier alerts
  • Respond to customer inquiries and requests in a professional and timely manner
  • Cross-sell insurance products to existing clients
  • Work with standard lines carriers, including Travelers, Safeco, Mercury, Nationwide, and others
  • Assist with managing a book of business valued at $3M, including accounts ranging from $1M to $1.5M

Qualifications/Requirements

  • Licenses/Certifications: Property & Casualty (P&C) license required
  • Experience: 2-3 years of experience in a similar role preferred
  • Software Skills: Familiarity with EzLynx and/or HawkSoft is preferred
  • Soft Skills:
    • Strong problem-solving abilities
    • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
    • Professional demeanor and customer-focused mindset
